The Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) provides social security benefits including medical care, sickness benefit, maternity benefit, disablement benefit, and dependent benefit to employees. Registration is mandatory for establishments employing 10 or more persons (20 in some states) where employees' gross wages do not exceed ₹21,000 per month. Both employer and employee contribute a percentage of wages.
Register on ESIC online portal (esic.gov.in) → Fill the employer registration form → Enter employee details and wage information → Submit required documents → Receive ESIC Code Number → File monthly returns and pay contributions
