About the Scheme

MUDRA (Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency Ltd) provides refinance support to banks and NBFCs for lending to micro enterprises. The three categories of interventions are Shishu (up to ₹50,000), Kishore (₹50,001-₹5 lakh), and Tarun (₹5,00,001-₹10 lakh). MUDRA also develops refinancing policy, offers credit guarantee, and builds capacity of MFIs and lending institutions.
