About the Scheme

PMAY-G aims to provide pucca houses with basic amenities to all houseless and those living in kutcha houses in rural areas. The unit assistance is ₹1.30 lakh in plain areas and ₹1.46 lakh in hilly/difficult areas. Additional assistance of ₹12,000 for toilet construction through Swachh Bharat Mission and 90-95 days of unskilled labor through MGNREGA.

Eligibility Criteria

• 1Houseless or living in kutcha house
• 2Listed in Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) 2011
• 3Rural area resident
• 4Not owning a pucca house
