About the Scheme

BharatNet is the world's largest rural broadband connectivity project aiming to provide broadband connectivity to all 2.5 lakh Gram Panchayats (GPs) in the country. It provides a minimum bandwidth of 100 Mbps to each GP. The project enables digital services like e-education, e-health, e-agriculture, and e-governance in rural areas.
