About the Scheme

PMJDY is a national mission on financial inclusion to ensure access to various financial services like availability of basic savings bank account, access to need-based credit, remittances facility, insurance, and pension to the excluded sections. Features include zero-balance account, RuPay debit card with inbuilt accident insurance of ₹2 lakh, overdraft facility up to ₹10,000, and interest on deposits.
