About the Scheme

PM KUSUM aims to provide financial and water security to farmers through solarisation. It has three components: (A) 10,000 MW decentralized ground-mounted grid-connected renewable power plants, (B) Installation of 20 lakh standalone solar pumps, (C) Solarisation of 15 lakh grid-connected agriculture pumps. Central Financial Assistance of 30% + State Government subsidy of 30% is provided.

• 1Individual farmer or group of farmers

• 4Must have agricultural land and pump connection
