About the Scheme

Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana was launched on 8 April 2015 to provide financial support to non-corporate, non-farm small and micro enterprises. Loans are provided under three categories: Shishu (up to ₹50,000), Kishore (₹50,001 to ₹5 lakh), and Tarun (₹5,00,001 to ₹10 lakh). MUDRA (Micro Units Development and Refinance Agency) refinances these loans through banks, NBFCs, and MFIs.
