About the Scheme

RoDTEP scheme replaced the earlier MEIS scheme and provides refund of duties and taxes incurred on exported products that are not refunded under any other mechanism. It covers central, state, and local duties/taxes. The rates vary from 0.5% to 4.3% of FOB value. The scheme is WTO-compliant and applies to all export sectors.

Eligibility Criteria

  • 1All exporters of goods from India
  • 2Must have valid IEC (Import Export Code)
  • 3Export made from India on or after 1 January 2021
